Take a deep breath

Screenshot_20170316-005038I woke up inspired today. I’ve just written a chronicle and it is about breathing, singing and “taking a breath” before giving yourself the permission to be anxious (or angry, as Donald Duck!). I wrote about why singing helps me to take better decisions in my life and how it brings me balance. And I did it because I wanted to help a friend to have that balance that I have when I am practicing breathing.

Do you want to see the results with me? So… let’s go!

I’ve just thought about an interesting question.  You are resisting about learning how to breath, aren’t you? Breathing makes you use your air. We can say poetically that the air allows you to “take a deep breath” before taking action. Singing envolves all your respiratory organs and balances the emotions, because it brings you some time to think:

“Wait … is this the best solution for that?”

Singing allows you to question the emotions you feel, and the reason why you feel them.

Singing, for me, is therapeutic, especially when I breathe correctly. I feel focused on my goals. Of course, you learn it if you want. Everything in its own time! But these fears you have or had can be minimized with these exercises! Because “taking a deep breath” balances the emotions. “Taking a deep breath” brings focus to your goals. Bring focus to your voice!

I know your way of learning is more technical, full of  “laryngeal muscle,” “uvula”, and so on. But I still cannot teach with these words! Haha!

When you find how to breathe correctly, you gain support from your body. It’s support. It is your own body supporting you, encouraging you, saying:

– I’m ready. Come on, I’ll support you.

Then you feel your belly working and you start to feel super confident! Because your body supports you! Your emotions and your reason are working together! You’re leaning! You feel your belly as steady as a tree trunk.

Then, my dear, the sky is the limit!
